IFA West tournaments may be located by clicking here. You need to be registered IFA to play in IFA tournaments and  your team must be insured to compete in IFA tournaments. You can purchase IFA team insurance or if your team is registered ASA then your players are covered.

 

IFA West has 4 different tournament types:

 

IFA  A & B Class tournaments:

These tournaments are held throughout the year, all teams participating in an IFA tournament have an automatic berth to the IFA West N.I.T. Click here for a list of these tournaments.

 

IFA State Tournament:

This tournament is the equivalent of the "ASA Metros" This tournament will be held in Sacramento, Ca. on July 3-5. The top 2 teams in each division will be given berths to the IFA "Elite" tournament. You must be registered IFA. Click here to enter this tournament.

 

IFA N.I.T. (national invitational tournament):

This tournament is the equivalent of the "ASA Western Nationals" This tournament will be held in Stockton Ca. on July 22-25. All teams competing in any IFA sanctioned tournament is automatically berthed into this tournament. Click here to enter this tournament.

 

IFA "Elite" Tournament:

This tournament is the equivalent of the "ASA Nationals" Click here to find the tournament location for your age and class. Only teams placing 1 or 2 in the State, or the N.I.T will receive a berth to this tournament. Unfortunately the 16U age group IFA West N.I.T. and Elite Nationals are on the same weekend, so you would have had to berth at the state tourney to attend the 16U "Elite" national.
