IFA West Region

IFA - INDEPENDENT FASTPITCH ASSOCIATION

The Independent Fastpitch Association, IFA, has been established to promote youth Fastpitch softball across the United States. The IFA leaders consist of Western, Central and Eastern representation to provide a variety of Fastpitch softball opportunities as an alternative to ASA Softball. The IFA will provide quality youth tournaments for all teams with a year ending U.S. Open NIT (National Invitational Tournaments) located in each region for teams who desire a final tournament close to home, with an addition of all IFA National events in the center of the country for teams from the East and West to "meet in the middle" for great competition in all age groups and all divisions. IFA will offer an 18U & 16U - 43' Elite National Tournament in Beaumont, Texas, so that colleges will get a double tournament value with double success for their recruiting budget. IFA is dedicated to providing quality tournaments and quality play for all teams.

All Teams participating in IFA Tournaments must have team insurance. The West region will accept ASA insurance in lieu of the IFA insurance, but you must submit your VTD roster to participate in an IFA tournament. If you have not registered your team with IFA and you play in an IFA qualifier you will NOT be eligible for a berth to the IFA Nationals, you must register your team prior to the contest to be eligible for a berth. If you add a player to your roster you must complete the "player Add / Drop form" to insure your player is covered with IFA insurance or you must submit an updated VTD Roster to verify that the new player is covered by insurance.
